At CCPV, we believe that God’s design for marriage is that it be a unique union between a man and a woman in a covenant for life. We hold marriage in high regard as it is a picture, in scripture, of Christ and His bride (the church). Marriage is one of the many ways God sanctifies His children, to be conformed to the image of Christ. In biblical marriage, we see — the fall, redemption, sanctification, glorification, and consummation  — all to the glory of our Heavenly Father!

We must always remember that in marriage, our spouses could never and were never intended to fulfill our deepest desires and emotions. That can only come from loving the Lord our God with all our heart, soul, mind, and strength. Learning to love God this way only comes from abiding in Christ.
